Computers in Engineering

Competition open and runs until 31st December 2006. SIgn up now!

What will the planes at the airport look like in 2050? Will you be able to hear them at all? How much will a ticket cost, in cash and in environmental terms?

It could be you at the computer designing these futuristic aircraft. Seem like a long way off? The free Future Flight competition will allow you to design tomorrow's airliners today.

It's free to sign-up and you could win a trip to see the Airbus A380 in Toulouse, France. We'll show you exactly how to design an airliner, and then you can try futuristic mods to see if you can make it as green as possible. You'll be able to calculate air fares, and see how kind your creation is to the environment.
